Private schools in kenya

Private Schools in kenya! do you want to take your child to one of them?

Have you recently decided that you would like your child to attend a private school? If so, have you decided on a school yet? If you have yet to decide on which private school you would like your child to attend, you may be wondering how you can go about making a decision. When it comes to private schools and choosing one, there are a number of important factors that you will want to take into consideration. Those factors, which will be outline below, may make it easier for you to find the perfect private school for your child.

Please visit: - http://www.privateschools.co.ke/

Perhaps, the most important thing to examine is location. When looking for private schools, you will want to examine the private schools that are located a reasonable distance away from your home. Of course, you can send your child to any private school that you want, but it is advised that you keep distance in mind. The closer the school is located to your home, the shorter the travel time will be for your child. Regardless of how old your child is, a long trip to school is often frowned upon by children.

The type of school that you would like your child to attend is also extremely important. For example, many private schools have a focus on a particular religion. Other private schools have a focus on a specific gender, such as an all boys school or an all girls school. If you would like your child to be able to better understand and appreciate your religion, a private school with a religious focus may be your best bet, and so on.

One of the many reasons why parents send their children to private schools is because of the student teacher ratio. In private schools, you will often find that the class sizes are smaller, but it isn't always guaranteed. If you want your child to be able to have a close relationship or a one-on-one relationship with his or her teacher, you will want to closely examine the student teacher ratio of your local private schools.
Depending on your current financial situation, the cost of a private school may be another factor that you need to take into consideration. Unlike most public schools, you are required to pay for your child to attend a private school. Although most private school parents feel that the fees are worth every penny, you may have a difficult time affording them. If that is the case, you will want to search for private schools that have scholarship programs or financing options. These types of private schools may make it easier for you to afford to send your child to a private school, instead of a public one.

It is also important that you ask your child what they want. For example, does your child want to play sports or participate in other after school activities? There are some private schools that are limited on the number of sports programs that they have. If your son has his heart set on playing football or your daughter on being a cheerleader, you will want to know, ahead of time, whether or not these programs are available. Depending on where you are located, there is a good chance that you have at least one local private school that has a sports program, as well as a wide array of different after school activities.

Since the school that you decide to send your child to, whether it is a private school or a public school, is extremely important, you are advised to schedule meetings with school officials. In fact, it is advised to set up a meeting with all of the local private school officials, even if you have your heart set on a particular private school. Examining all of your options is the best way to make sure that your child gets everything that they need to have, when it comes to their schooling.

Kenya-East Africa, are e-commerce ready?

Today, very little business is transacted online in Kenya. E-commerce has great potential to expand markets, productivity and competitiveness, in Kenya, East Africa, Africa and under developed Nations, according to experts.

What is E-Commerce? E-commerce is a form of business transaction in which the parties interact electronically rather than by physical exchanges or direct physical contact. It is also a means of doing business online through the World Wide Web by purchasing goods and services online.

E-commerce includes business-to-business connections that make purchasing easier for big corporations, whilist interaction with middle, small, startups and personal businesses is maximized. This is due to it's nature i.e non-personal interaction, speed and proximities. It also includes the so-called micro transactions that allow businesses or consumers to pay small amounts of cash to access online content or games.

African, East African and the Kenyan government's failure or slowness to address ICT policy and strategy in a cohesive and comprehensive manner, which would have provision for e-transactions bill. In Kenya today for instance, as of June, this year, it was projected that the total number of credit card users would have increased and surpassed 100,000 if the pace of subscription remained consistent.

This forms the basis upon which e-commerce could be developed, improved and sustained. However, despite the availability of the necessary infrastructure, e-commerce has not taken off in Kenya strongly due to the absence of enabling legislation.

Statistics show that e-commerce is estimated to be worth over US$2 trillion and extraordinary growth is expected in the next few years. Kenya only needs to tap 1% of this business to thrive.
